The Hipot test is commonly used during the manufacture of electrical products. Systems and devices undergo the high-voltage assessment to verify the integrity of insulation. The high-potential or HiPot test can identify problems with insulation on motors, transformers, electrical appliances and circuit boards. It can check wires, conductors, terminals and cables.
