Height And Depth Gages

Transcat offers a large selection of height gages of all types to measure object height and to mark parts. The basic height gage has a solid base and a vertical column with an attached sliding unit, as well as an arm that makes contact with the measured object. The instruments are often used on a granite surface plate. Electronic height gages can be programmed for routine measuring tasks.

The depth gage is a tool used to measure the depth of grooves, slots, recesses and holes, available in digital or mechanical versions. Micrometer-style products with changeable rods can deliver a wider measurement range. We supply depth and height gages from leaders in device design, including Mitutoyo and Starrett.
