SafetySpace filter tips have more space between the sample and the filter than conventional filter tips, virtually eliminating the risk of a sample permeating the filter. Useful in pipetting foaming liquids and solvents, multiple dispensing functions of electronic pipettes, reverse pipetting and more. Tips are made of virgin polypropylene; filter is made of polyethylene without self-sealing additives to avoid any interference with the sample and the results. Filter barrier helps protect against cross-contamination of sample and/or pipette and reduces the need for pipette maintenance. Tips are certified free of DNase, RNase and endotoxins.
