Product Highlights

The TEX500RA is a passive probe with a readout actuator integrated into the standard BNC connection. The new design is slimmer and features a reduced size compensation box with all the same specifications and abilities as before. The readout actuator pin prompts the automatic switching of the alphanumeric V/cm waveform scaling information on oscilloscopes with an on-screen display, or illuminates a x10 indicator on earlier RA capable oscilloscopes. This high impedance oscilloscope probe is designed and calibrated for use on instruments with an input impedance of 1 MOhm shunted by 15 pF. However, the TEX500RA can be low-frequency adjusted to work with instruments having an input capacitance anywhere between 10 to 35 pF. Users can further fine-tune the probe by using the three incorporated high-frequency trimming adjustments within the adjustment box near the standard BNC connection.
