The Hioki FT6041-92 Earth Tester Kit includes the FT6041 Earth Tester, Z3210 Wireless Adapter, FT9847 Signal Induction Clamp, CT9848 Clamp-On Sensor, and a variety of accessories that are designed to shorten work times and reduce operator workload.

The FT6041 Earth Tester offers extensive measurement functionality for choosing the correct measurement method for any ground-resistance testing application. The 4-pole method allows for measuring soil resistivity when surveying a grounding design, the 3-pole method allows for precise measurement of ground resistance, and the 3-pole method using 4-terminal measurement allows for ground resistance values of several ohms or less to be measured. The MEC function enables measurement of ground resistance without disconnecting ground electrodes. For measuring grounding resistance at multiple grounds, the 2-clamp method can be utilized with optional clamp sensors (not included). For continuity testing after conducting ground resistance measurement, the low-resistance measurement method can be performed.

The features and functions of the FT6041 Earth Tester work to offer fast and easy measurements. Cord rewinding does not tangle or twist shortens work times and lowers frustrations faced with typical cord accessories. The auxiliary grounding electrodes require only one insertion into the ground due to the high maximum allowable resistance. With the L9846 Earth Nets Module, measurements can even be made on concrete.

Built tough to withstand usage at harsh jobsites, the FT6041 Earth Tester offers IP67 rated dust and water protection. This unit allows the user to not worry about dirt, sand, rain, and even mud that can get onto the instrument. The high operating temperature allows this unit to be used outdoors even in extreme temperatures. For added ruggedness, the FT6041 withstands drops up to one meter high onto concrete with the protector attached to the unit.

The Z3210 Wireless Adapter enables users to add Bluetooth functionality to their FT6041 Earth Tester. With a simple plug-and-use connection, the Z3210 allows the user to connect to their phone, tablet, or computer in order to wirelessly transmit measurement data and create reports on the jobsite. Measurement data can be automatically transferred to an Excel file once the FT6041's auto-hold function is activated. With the use of the GENNECT Cross app, the user can check and manage their measurement results. The measurement results can then be made into reports that can be shared with others. The ability to wirelessly store and transmit measurement data on the jobsite aids in eliminating user errors that can be made by manually creating reports.

The FT9847 Signal Induction Clamp is designed for signal induction and resistance check loop applications. The CT9848 Clamp-On Sensor is designed for detection applications. Both clamp sensors are ideal for use when utilizing the MEC function or 2-clamp methods of ground-resistance testing with the FT6041 Earth Tester.
