The Megger 2001-692 eight-channel digital hydrometer kit for the BITE series measures temperature and specific gravity of flooded battery cells to check a battery's state of charge. It is for use with the Megger BITE 3 battery impedance tester. The hydrometer comes with an eight-channel data logger that stores data for up to 8 tests of 256 cells each. It provides a more accurate indication of a battery's state of charge than a voltmeter.
