This Mitutoyo digital micrometer is waterproof and suitable for use in the presence of coolant or cutting oil. The frame is stable and incorporates a heat shield to preserve accuracy over extended measuring sessions. A ratchet stop provides constant force. This micrometer has the option for digimatic data output. Oil-resistant materials are used in all plastic components.
Battery = SR44, battery life approximately 1 year under normal use.
