The UNI-T MSO5000HDFLEX is a FLEX Serial Bus Trigger and Analysis Option for MSO5000HD Oscilloscopes. Designed for automotive systems evolving beyond CAN and LIN, the MSO5000HD-FLEX unlocks support for FlexRay, the time-deterministic bus used in safety-critical applications such as braking systems, steering control, and drive-by-wire.
FlexRay enables much higher speeds and tighter synchronization than CAN, making it ideal for distributed real-time systems—but it also demands rigorous debugging tools. This decode option helps users identify latency, timing jitter, and data corruption with complete waveform correlation.
- For use with MSO5000HD Oscilloscopes
- Decode FlexRay frame components: sync segment, frame ID, payload, CRC, and cycle counters
- Trigger on specific frame IDs, payload patterns, or timing errors
- Event list generation with full frame metadata
- Search for errors like CRC mismatches or clock drift
- View time-domain alignment between FlexRay and analog phenomena (e.g., voltage dip, ground bounce)
- Spot hard-to-find timing problems and synchronization faults in braking, steering, and ADAS applications.
- Frame-Level Visibility
- Capture timing glitches or voltage swings that would never appear in a pure logic analyzer.
