The Keysight B2911C is a high-performance, single-channel precision Source/Measure Unit (SMU), designed for accurate and versatile electronic testing in laboratories, production facilities, and automated test environments. With capabilities to source and measure up to ±210 V and ±3 A DC or ±10.5 A pulsed, the B2911C can efficiently handle diverse testing applications, including semiconductor characterization, discrete and passive component evaluation, photovoltaic cells, and power devices. It offers exceptional measurement resolution, down to 10 fA for current and 100 nV for voltage, enabling precise, low-level electrical measurements previously possible only with specialized equipment.

This SMU integrates a four-quadrant sourcing and measurement capability, significantly simplifying complex IV testing setups by eliminating the need for separate instruments. The built-in Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) and versatile sweep functionalities—linear, logarithmic, pulsed, and custom waveforms—allow detailed device characterization under dynamic conditions, supporting waveform definitions with up to 100,000 programmable steps. Its advanced digitizing function provides rapid sampling rates up to 100,000 points per second, facilitating accurate capture of transient phenomena.

The B2911C features a user-friendly 4.3-inch color LCD graphical user interface with intuitive viewing modes, such as single and graph views, for streamlined data visualization and interactive testing directly from the instrument. Enhanced connectivity options include USB, LAN, and GPIB interfaces, while software packages like PathWave BenchVue, PathWave IV Curve, and EasyEXPERT group+ simplify remote operation and data analysis, improving productivity without extensive programming.
