The EA PS and PSI programmable power supplies range in power from 1500W devices up to 30kW in a single chassis and feature 5" TFT Gorilla® Glass touchscreen displays for intuitive control and test setup. The power supplies can be paralleled for up to 3.84MW in output power at up to 2000VDC. The PSI Series comes standard with a built-in function generator capable of creating arbitrary waveforms, included test routines for battery test, fuel cell simulation, PV solar array simulation with MPP tracking, and other enhanced capabilities over the PS Series
The EA-PS 11500-20 3U is equipped with an active PFC which provides a high efficiency at a low energy consumption, while providing a wide input voltage range. This devices can be operated in the majority of global grids. It adjust automatically, without additional configuration, to the available grid voltage. The DC output of the PS 11500-20 3U has flexible output stages (auto-ranging) that provide users with a wide voltage, current and power range - a wider field of work is possible, than with traditional power supplies. "Auto-ranging" is a term used when a programmable DC power supply automatically offers a wider output range of both voltage and current, to maintain full power across a wide operation range. This type of solution allows the use of a single unit to address multiple voltage and current combinations. Connection of the DC output is done via copper blades on the back side of the PS 11500-20 3U. With minimal effort these devices can be linked with the vertical copper rails; a cover is included to protect the contact.
